Desired Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP development and documentation
- Excellent communication skills with students, staff, and families
- Ability to work independently and as a collaborative team member
Your Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments for speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students needs
- Deliver engaging direct therapy, both individual and group, to foster language development and communication skills
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support students academic and social success
- Maintain timely and accurate records in compliance with district and legal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
