Role

What you’ll do:

  • Evaluate and diagnose speech-language, cognitive communication, voice, swallowing, and fluency disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including ongoing assessment and discharge planning.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team to support care goals and optimize outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate documentation while promoting a safe, compliant care environment and adhering to infection prevention standards.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or equivalent.
  • Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • BLS/CPR certification required.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA or a clinical fellowship year.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, lift, push, and pull—often for prolonged periods.
  • Lifting or exerting up to 50 lbs.
  • Exposure to bodily fluids is possible.
  • Visual acuity for assessment and documentation; acute hearing required.
  • Manual dexterity to operate equipment and a computer keyboard.
