A school district near Kaufman, TX is seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide therapy and support for students with speech and language disorders. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping students develop their communication skills in a school-based setting.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Texas SLP license (or eligible)
- ASHA CCCs preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) are welcome to apply
- Previous experience in a school setting is a plus
Responsibilities
- Evaluate students for speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapy to students based on their needs
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure student success
- Document student progress and attend IEP meetings
