Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Overview

We are seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to develop and deliver personalized 1:1 rehabilitative therapy programs for patients recovering from surgeries, illnesses, or accidents. The role involves conducting comprehensive assessments, creating treatment plans, and adjusting care based on patient progress. You will practice independently within the community as part of an interdisciplinary team, providing therapy in patients' homes or care facilities.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum one year of speech language pathology experience or successful completion of a rehab intern probationary period
• Licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist/Audiologist in New York State
• Valid driver's license required outside Manhattan

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop treatment plans
• Deliver personalized therapy and evaluate patient progress
• Respond to evolving patient needs with plan adjustments

Compensation

Pay ranges from USD $45.09 to USD $56.39 per hour, or $70-$75 per visit for per diem roles.
