Responsibilities include:

• Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy services to students in accordance with IEPs and best practices.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop goals, and document progress to support student achievement.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, special education staff, and other professionals to ensure coordinated, effective services.
• Participate in evaluation meetings, IEP teams, and multidisciplinary discussions as a key member addressing communication challenges.
• Maintain accurate records, compliance with federal/state guidelines, and ethical standards.

Qualifications and experience required:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Active VA SLP License (required prior to start).
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred.
• Previous experience in a school-based setting or with school-aged children is highly desirable.
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills, with a collaborative, student-centered approach.
• Strong ability to manage a caseload and deliver evidence-based therapy.
