Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Vista, CA

Key Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current SLP license in California
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows encouraged to apply
• Experience supporting school-aged children, including IEP participation and documentation
• Effective communication, teamwork, and organizational abilities
• Adaptability and compassion for diverse student populations

Core Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders for students
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in collaboration with educators and caregivers
• Contribute to Multi-Disciplinary Teams and IEP meetings, providing tailored recommendations
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and progress notes in accordance with school and state requirements
• Facilitate group and individual therapy, fostering student progress toward measurable goals
• Provide consultation and training to teachers and support staff to enhance student success
