Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are welcome
- Previous school-based SLP experience strongly desired
- Outstanding organizational and communication skills
- Adaptable and proactive problem-solver who thrives in team environments
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of students with suspected speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students needs
- Deliver targeted therapy sessionsboth individually and in small groups
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to promote positive outcomes
- Provide consultations and resources to educators and caregivers to facilitate generalization of skills in the classroom
