Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Universal City, TX

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Current state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are welcome
• Previous school-based SLP experience strongly desired
• Outstanding organizational and communication skills
• Adaptable and proactive problem-solver who thrives in team environments

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of students with suspected speech, language, and communication disorders
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students needs
• Deliver targeted therapy sessionsboth individually and in small groups
• Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to promote positive outcomes
• Provide consultations and resources to educators and caregivers to facilitate generalization of skills in the classroom
