Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active state licensure or eligibility in Oregon
- Previous experience in a school setting, preferably with elementary-aged children
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with multidisciplinary teams
- Dedication to helping students achieve their individualized goals
- Comfortable providing onsite services; teletherapy not currently an option
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to elementary students based on IEPs
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to determine students’ needs
- Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans
- Consult with teachers, parents, and other staff members to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute expertise for student-centered planning
- Educate staff and families on strategies to facilitate communication development
This contract position consists of a full-time workweek (40 hours) on a welcoming elementary campus. You will become an integral part of a team dedicated to student success, with the chance to positively influence lives through your clinical skills and creativity.
