Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Active state licensure (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- School-based experience with K-12th grade populations preferred
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese strongly preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with speech and language needs
- Deliver direct and consultative speech therapy services across diverse grade levels
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Accurately assess, document, and report student progress and ongoing needs
- Adapt therapy approaches to engage bilingual and multicultural learners
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to district-wide initiatives as needed
