Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Douglasville, GA

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in Georgia (or eligibility to obtain)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates also strongly encouraged to apply
• Previous school-based SLP experience is highly valued, though not required
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit for working with students, educators, and families
• Ability to adapt assessment and intervention strategies to both elementary and high school populations

• Provide direct speech-language therapy services for students in assigned schools
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' needs and monitor progress
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation following school and state guidelines
• Offer guidance and resources to teachers and families to promote students' ongoing development
