Key Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in the state
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred, though strong Clinical Fellowship candidates may be considered
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is valued
- Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students individually or in small groups
- Conduct assessments to determine students needs and contribute to IEP development
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with educators and families to support students goals
