Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Bennett, CO

Preferred Background:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current state licensure and ASHA CCCs (or eligibility in process)
• Previous experience in school settings, particularly working with students with intellectual disabilities
• Familiarity with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices is highly advantageous
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a flexible caseload
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities for working with students, educators, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language assessments tailored to individual student needs
• Attend and contribute actively to IEP meetings as a valued team member
• Deliver both direct therapy and consultative/indirect services as outlined in student IEPs
• Develop individualized treatment plans and set appropriate goals
• Adapt interventions for students who utilize speech-generating or assistive devices
• Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to integrate speech goals across learning environments
• Maintain thorough documentation and support compliance within special education processes
