About the Role
As a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP), you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with communication and swallowing disorders. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve patients' communication skills, cognitive abilities, and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' communication and swallowing functions
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients' communication and swallowing disorders
- Provide therapy to patients in a variety of settings, including individual and group sessions
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective communication and coordination of patient care
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress
- Participate in regular staff meetings and in-service education to stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology
Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Wisconsin licensure (or eligibility for licensure)
- Experience as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends
Per Diem Opportunity
As a per diem Speech Language Pathologist (SLP), you will have the flexibility to choose your schedule and work as many or as few shifts as you prefer. Our per diem team is essential to our operations, and we rely on their expertise and dedication to ensure our patients receive the best possible care.
