Overview

Ballard Rehab Hospital, located in San Bernardino, CA, is a 60 bed rehab facility providing rehabilitative services to people recovering from disabilities caused by injuries or illnesses. We help patients regain their physical or cognitive abilities so they can return home at the highest level of independence. As a smaller, specialized hospital, we offer a fast‑paced and friendly environment where staff get to know patients and their families.

Job Responsibilities

Responsible for providing and directing Speech‑Language Pathologist services to patients, including assessment, treatment, program planning and implementation, related documentation, and communication. Functions under physician’s orders.

Required Skills

• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Speech Therapist in the state of employment.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in SLP or in the process of completing Clinical Fellowship Year.
• Member of American Speech‑Language and Hearing Association.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra‑approved vendor.

Additional Qualifications & Skills

• One (1) year of experience preferred. Ability to project a professional image.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
• Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.

Compensation

The wage range for this role is $47.07 - $60.89.
