CareNational is now hiring a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time contract with a reputable Long-Term Care/Rehab facility in Eugene, OR. This is a rewarding opportunity to help residents regain communication and swallowing abilities while working a consistent weekly schedule.
Pay Details:

• $27.33 - $28.67 per hour DOE

Work Setting:

• Onsite | Rehab Department - Long-Term Care / Post-Acute Facility

Position Details:

• Schedule: Monday through Friday
  
• Shift: Variable Shifts
  
• Hours: 40 Hours per Week (5 x 8-Hour Shifts)
  
• Type: Full-Time Contract
  
• Start Date: ASAP

Certification Requirements:

• Speech-Language Pathologist License - Oregon (Required)
  
• BLS Certification - (Required)

Skill Requirements:

• Valid SLP licensure in the state of Oregon
  
• Strong knowledge of speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
  
• Ability to develop and implement personalized treatment plans
  
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  
• Proficient in clinical documentation and care planning
  
• Previous experience in long-term care, rehab, or post-acute care preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify patient needs and determine appropriate speech therapy interventions
  
• Deliver therapy services in compliance with physician orders and state/federal guidelines
  
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to ensure patient-centered care
  
• Promote the highest possible physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being of each patient
  
• Document all services provided in accordance with regulatory standards
  
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
  
• Provide education and support to patients and families regarding therapy goals
