  • Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Onsite/Virtual: Onsite
  • Position Type: Contract
  • Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language support and services to students across two middle schools.
  • Oversee and provide appropriate clinical supervision to an SLPA.
  • Collaborate with special education teachers, classroom staff, administrators, families, and other related service providers.
  • Participate in student evaluations, IEP meetings, and educational planning.
  • Develop and implement speech-language goals and services in accordance with student IEPs.
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate service and clinical documentation.
  • Ensure services are delivered in compliance with district policies and applicable state and professional requirements.
  • Provide clinical guidance and support to the SLPA as needed.
  • Maintain effective communication with school staff and families regarding student speech and language needs.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is required.
  • Experience working with school-age students preferred.
  • Ability to provide clinical oversight and supervision to an SLPA.
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work on-site at both middle school locations.
