Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - East Orange, NJ

Desired Qualifications:

• Master's degree or higher in Speech Language Pathology
• NJDOE Speech Language Specialist Certificate
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
• Experience working with children in educational settings is preferred
• Ability to manage diverse caseloads; indicate preference within K-12 age ranges if applicable

Core Responsibilities:

• Serve as case manager for students eligible for speech-only services
• Identify, screen, and evaluate students for speech, voice, and language disorders
• Administer comprehensive speech and language evaluations
• Actively participate in Child Study Team (CST) meetings
• Provide clear information and support to parents to enhance their understanding of speech and language services
