A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position is available for the school year in Eagle River, AK. This onsite role supports elementary school students from approximately two schools with an average caseload of 47 students. Employment is scheduled from August 14, 2026, to May 27, 2027.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students in compliance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and progress monitoring.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student communication goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all local and state regulations.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
- Must hold current Alaska state certification and licensure as an SLP or SLPA.
- Credentialed with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred for SLP candidates.
- Experience working in school settings.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage a caseload with services delivered onsite; virtual or VOCO services are not applicable.

- Full-time contract position (40 hours per week, approx. 8.5 hours per day with a 30-minute unpaid lunch)
- August 14, 2026, through May 27, 2027
