Team up with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and physicians while collaborating with caregivers and families to foster a comprehensive approach to care.

Educate patients and families to ensure progress continues beyond the therapy room.

Occasionally conduct inpatient assessments and therapies, ensuring a seamless continuum of care throughout the patient's therapeutic journey.

Document all patient interactions thoroughly and timely, adhering to federal, state, and organization regulations.

Commit to professional development by staying informed about the latest advancements in the field through continuing education opportunities.

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.

Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet certified by ASHA.

Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.

Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days post-employment.

Demonstrated knowledge of evidence-based therapy methods applicable to all age groups, with a comprehensive understanding of speech, language, and swallowing disorders both developmental and acquired.

Exceptional interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients, families, and collaborative healthcare teams.

Ability to customize treatment approaches to address diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.

Strong clinical reasoning and analytical skills.
