Description

- Deliver individualized speech therapy focused on enhancing communication, language skills, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing functions.
- Partner with physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and family members to create effective, integrated care plans.
- Provide insightful education to patients and their families to promote progress beyond clinical settings.
- Participate in occasional inpatient speech therapy assessments and interventions to maintain continuity of care throughout treatment.
- Ensure meticulous and timely documentation in compliance with state, federal, and organizational regulations.

Education
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not ASHA-certified.
Certifications
- State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of employment.
