We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to support our residents through personalized therapy and interdisciplinary care. Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Collaborate with nursing, rehab, and medical staff to ensure effective outcomes
- Provide education to families and staff on therapy techniques and communication strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with all guidelines
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure as an SLP
- CCC-SLP preferred but not required
- Prior experience in long-term care is a plus
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Passion for working with the geriatric population
