About the Role:

As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) at Aspire Senior Living Carthage, you will be responsible for providing speech-language pathology services to our residents, including assessment, treatment, and consultation. Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized plans of care that promote optimal communication, cognition, and swallowing skills. Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) will also collaborate with family members, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents' communication, cognition, and swallowing skills
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address residents' goals and needs
• Provide speech-language therapy services to residents, including direct treatment and consultation
• Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized plans of care
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident assessments, treatment, and progress
• Participate in staff development and education programs to stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology
