Speech-Language Pathologist Needed in Brownsburg, IN
Position Overview
Provide speech and language therapy services to help students improve communication and learning skills.
Duration: Contracted for the 25/26 School Year (36 weeks)
Setting: Elementary (K-5) - Full-time, in person
Essential Functions
- Identify students needing specialized speech or language services and provide tailored solutions for academic success.
- Conduct individual and group therapy using curriculum-based materials and provide progress reports.
- Supervise support staff, consult with educators, and provide alternative communication systems.
- Create engaging learning environments and promote social, physical, and intellectual growth.
- Explore individual learning needs, develop personalized solutions, and implement curriculum goals.
- Model mature behavior, uphold values, and encourage character development.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech Pathology, Speech Audiology, Communications Disorders, or similar program.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Indiana license for Speech and Language Therapy, or eligibility to become licensed
- Positive, energetic, and compassionate approach to education.
- Willingness to participate in events outside normal hours, travel as needed, and engage actively in the role.
Pay
- $75/hr - $80/hr
- $2,812 - $3,000 Weekly
