Description

• Deliver targeted speech therapy sessions focused on enhancing communication skills, language development, fluency, voice quality, and swallowing function.
• Collaborate seamlessly with an interdisciplinary team, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, and family members to develop a cohesive care plan.
• Educate patients and families to foster ongoing development and support between therapy sessions.
• Participate in inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions when necessary, ensuring smooth care transitions.
• Keep meticulous records that meet state and federal regulations, demonstrating compliance and accountability.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
