Job Summary

We seek a skilled and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will assess, diagnose, and treat patients with speech and language disorders. Your expertise will play a crucial role in helping patients improve their communication skills and enhance their quality of life. Pay: $55 - $100 per visit (35 - 60 minutes each visit)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results.
  • Provide therapy sessions to patients with speech and language disorder.
  • Utilize a variety of techniques and modalities to improve patients' communication skills.
  • Collaborate with SOAL's multidisciplinary team and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Monitor and document patients' progress throughout the treatment process.
  • Educate patients and their families on strategies for improving communication outside of therapy sessions.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid state license or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist
  • Valid ASHA Certification.
  • Previous experience in pediatrics and home health setting is preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of speech therapy techniques, anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
  • Ability to assess and diagnose speech and language disorders in patients of all ages, including pediatrics.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
