• Deliver personalized speech therapy services focusing on enhancing communication, language skills, fluency, voice therapy, and swallowing functions.
• Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, registered nurses, physicians, caregivers, and family members to ensure holistic care.
• Educate patients and families to support progress beyond session hours and foster self-advocacy.
• Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions, ensuring seamless care across different service settings.
• Keep precise and up-to-date records in accordance with state, federal, and institutional standards.
• Pursue ongoing education opportunities and collaborate with peers to stay informed about emerging trends and methods in the field.

Education

• M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet certified by ASHA.

Certifications

• State license for Speech Language Pathology.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.
• BASIC Life Support (BLS) certification must be acquired within the first month of employment.
