• Deliver focused one-on-one speech therapy sessions addressing aspects like language, fluency, voice, and swallowing difficulties.
• Work collaboratively with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and families to create a unified approach to therapy.
• Educate patients and their families on effective strategies to enhance progress beyond the clinical setting.
• Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and therapeutic interventions to ensure a seamless continuum of care.
• Keep up-to-date documentation that adheres to all legal and organizational standards.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.

Licenses and Certifications

• Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification needs to be acquired within 30 days of employment.
