Position Overview
Clinic-Based Opportunity for a Part-Time Speech-Language Pathologist.
Essential Accountabilities
- Conduct initial evaluations and re-evaluations on assigned patients.
- Design individualized treatment plans and materials to match the patient’s unique learning profile.
- Provide therapy according to the treatment plan while monitoring progress and adjusting therapy.
- Document, monitor, and analyze the patient’s progress and effects of treatment.
- Communicate, educate, and provide family training on the patient’s individualized treatment plans.
- Consult and collaborate with family and other staff or supports (i.e., physician, school district, other therapies).
- Create and submit all reporting, including appropriate recommendations ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Requirements
- Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in Speech Language Pathology.
- Current licensure to practice Speech Language Therapy within the state of Ohio.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Proficiency in English, reading, comprehending and understanding the English language.
- Completed FBI and BCI background check (can be completed upon hire).
- Professional liability insurance, recommended by governing body.
- Positive and goal-oriented, willing to accept new assignments and work well with others.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with emphasis on teamwork, customer service, and safe working practices.
- Ability to handle stressful situations.
