We're looking for a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist who is ready to bring clinical expertise and creativity to a role where their work can directly improve the lives of the people we support.
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
As a Speech-Language Pathologist at NCFL, you'll:

• Evaluate and treat adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD), as well as individuals with physical, cognitive, and psychological needs
• Provide treatment for dysphagia, cognitive impairments, speech and language deficits, voice disorders, and other developmental and intellectual disabilities
• Administer and interpret standardized assessments
• Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with each person's ISP
• Communicate with Support Coordinators to promote implementation of recommendations in home and community settings
• Educate DSPs and other staff on strategies and recommendations to be implemented outside of therapy sessions
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and other professionals to promote effective, coordinated care
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and other care-planning meetings as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans in accordance with legal, ethical, and agency requirements
• Follow NJ DDD guidelines for habilitative and rehabilitative therapy services
• Follow clinical direction and guidance from the Clinical Director
• Maintain knowledge of applicable clinical, licensing, and regulatory requirements
• Utilize ClinicSource and other technology to support documentation and clinical services

What You'll Bring:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
• Valid New Jersey state license in Speech-Language Pathology
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
• Strong understanding of the unique needs and challenges of adults with developmental disabilities
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and clinical skills
• Ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans and clinical strategies
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Experience with ClinicSource preferred
• Ability to work a 45-hour-per-week schedule
