We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a supportive therapy team in Oroville, CA. This is a great opportunity for an SLP looking for flexibility, a collaborative work environment, and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of adult and geriatric patients.
Full-time, part-time, and PRN schedules are available.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
- Provide dysphagia assessment and treatment
- Collaborate with PT, OT, nursing, physicians, and other members of the interdisciplinary team
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding treatment and strategies
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Participate in care planning and discharge recommendations
Qualifications
- Current California Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA CCC-SLP preferred
- Skilled Nursing, rehab, or geriatric experience preferred, but qualified candidates from other settings are encouraged to apply
- Strong communication and interdisciplinary teamwork skills
