DESCRIPTION
The Learning Academy (TLA) in Jupiter, FL is looking for a great SLP to provide speech and language services at a charter school for students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Housed on the state-of-the-art Els Center for Excellence campus, TLA is at the forefront of education and therapeutic services for individuals on the autism spectrum.

The Learning Academy (TLA) is a public charter school for students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) located on the state-of-the-art Els Center of Excellence campus in Jupiter, Florida
Mission: To empower every TLA student to reach their fullest potential through evidence-based instruction in academics, social-emotional learning, communication and vocational skills, while fostering meaningful inclusion and community readiness.

SLP duties within The Learning Academy include:
- push-in and pull-out therapies
- development of individualized communication and language goals
- training and coaching team members in communication facilitation strategies
- conducting assessments and tracking student progress
- leading instruction in social skills and pragmatics
- developing individualized communication supports (including AAC)
- contributing to the mission of the school to create an excellent educational experience for students on the autism spectrum
