Speech Language Pathologist in Harvest, AL

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• State licensure (or eligibility) for Speech-Language Pathology
• Previous experience in school settings preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment for diverse student populations

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educational staff and families
• Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students
• Maintain accurate records of treatment, progress, and required documentation according to district and state guidelines
• Engage in IEP meetings and communicate students' progress to teachers, parents, and team members
• Offer classroom strategies and support to teachers for students with communication needs
• Participate in professional development and district initiatives as needed
