Speech Language Pathologist in Citrus Heights, CA

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving a diverse school community as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC). Your schedule will bring variety and impact-spending two days each week focusing on elementary students in Rancho Cordova, dedicating one day to an alternative high school and a community-based program (ages 18-22), and providing expertise to two elementary schools in Folsom for one day each. With a focus on communication skills, you'll be part of a collaborative team supporting students' educational and personal growth.
Qualifications and Experience Sought:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
• Valid or eligible for state licensure
• Previous experience in school-based SLP roles strongly preferred
• Adaptable, organized, and able to work independently across multiple settings
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills

What You'll Be Doing:

• Conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and deliver therapeutic interventions
• Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to promote student success
• Support communication development in diverse populations, including elementary, high school, and community transition
• Travel between multiple nearby school sites according to the weekly schedule
• Contribute actively to multidisciplinary teams, bringing insight and advocacy for students' speech and language needs
