Speech Language Pathologist

Evaluates and treats speech-language disorders/disabilities for children and adults, provide appropriate recommendations for treatment and prepares complete and timely reports and documentation. Primary position responsibilities include evaluating speech, language and swallowing disorders/disabilities, providing therapy for targeted disabilities, maintaining acceptable patient care productivity, completing thorough diagnostic reports and documenting daily progress, counseling and educating patient/family, and communicating with other essential medical personnel.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in speech-language pathology or related field, with a master’s degree preferred. One to three years of experience in a healthcare setting is required, with dysphagia experience preferred. NJ Dept of Consumer Affairs Licensure in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
