We are looking for a passionate Speech‑Language Pathologist to join our team at North Shore Pediatric Therapy. You’ll deliver in‑clinic therapy through evaluations and individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to empower children to reach their fullest potential.

Compensation: $57–$70 per billable hour. Job Type: Part‑time, hourly. Work Setting: In‑person clinic, Arlington Heights, IL.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology and an Illinois state license in good standing.
  • Prior experience conducting assessments to identify strengths and needs of clients.
  • Eager to grow skills in high‑demand clinical areas such as AAC, feeding, and childhood apraxia of speech.
  • Strong patience, compassion, and a collaborative spirit.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to diagnose communication and feeding disorders.
  • Make appropriate cross‑referrals to other disciplines.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and goals for each client.
  • Provide one‑on‑one therapy sessions to improve speech, language, social, and feeding skills.
  • Educate families, staff, and the community on AAC and other communication supports.
  • Collaborate with doctors, teachers, and pediatric therapists for coordinated care.
  • Keep detailed records of progress and adjust plans as needed.
