Position: Speech Language PathologistLocation: Brooklyn, NYSetting: Skilled Nursing FacilityAbout the opportunity: A high-end rehab organization is searching for Speech Language Pathologists to join its team for several of its locations in Brooklyn. Previous SNF experience with both long term and short term care is strongly prefered. The ideal candidate would have 1+ years of experience and can work independently in a fast paced environment. There is strong potential to grow into a more managerial role over time with this facility.

Job Responsibilities: Provide and direct resident/resident rehabilitation care within all general accepted practice methods, meeting all center, state, federal, and accrediting standards. Evaluate resident needs and establishes effective and efficient treatment plans for the residents assigned. Manage and coordinate the supervision of treatment plans with all staff and other disciplines as indicated.
Participate in the screening of all residents according to directed schedules and practices. Provide feedback to the designated supervisor on all clinical and rehabilitation issues. Show effective management of treatment and non-treatment related activities. Performs necessary clinical documentation to meet center, state, federal, and accrediting agency requirements.
Maintain complete, accurate and timely billing records to meet center, state, federal, and accrediting agency requirements Participate in in-service training programs as requested Supervise clinical fellows and review documentation
