This position is an exciting opportunity to grow as a professional and exercise your clinical skills in a variety of ways. The position is full-time (part-time considered).

The perfect candidate would have experience in phonological/speech sound disorders, late talking toddlers, social communication disorders, language-based learning disabilities, Autism, oral motor deficits, feeding, and fluency. The right person will have a strong work ethic, be organized, and passionate about working with kids.

Responsibilities

  • Administration and analysis of pediatric speech and language assessments
  • Develop, oversee, and implement client’s Plan of Care (POC)
  • Review, analyze data, observe program implementation and make necessary changes in client’s POC
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, pediatricians and educational professionals
  • Collect, maintain and evaluate data on each client’s progress
  • Communicate openly and effectively with parents and coworkers
  • Conduct training workshops for families and/or schools
  • Complete necessary documentation including SOAP notes, Evaluation Reports, and Progress Notes

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree or PhD in Speech and Language Pathology & Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA
  • Oregon state license for Speech-Language Pathology (current and active)

Preferences

  • Minimum of 2 years of pediatric speech therapy experience
