Qualifications & Desired Experience

• Active SLPA licensure or certification as required by the state
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is highly desirable
• Familiarity with techniques for supporting speech, language, and communication needs
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to adapt to diverse classroom environments and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities

• Support licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in delivering therapy services to students with speech and language challenges
• Implement IEP goals and track student progress under the guidance of supervising SLPs
• Assist with documentation, progress notes, and preparation of session materials
• Engage students in effective and age-appropriate activities to promote positive language and communication development
• Participate in team meetings and collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to foster student success
• Maintain a positive, encouraging, and inclusive learning environment
