Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in Kerman, CA

Step into a rewarding school-based contract position as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant, supporting young learners in an elementary setting from Transitional Kindergarten through 5th grade. Qualifications:

• Active California SLPA license required
• Minimum of 3 months' experience as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in a school setting
• Preferred bilingual skills in Spanish, though not required
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills
• Comfortable working with a caseload of elementary students (TK-5)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and indirect speech-language services to students under SLP supervision
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and session notes
• Assist in the preparation of therapy materials customized for diverse learning needs
• Engage with school staff, families, and your supervising SLP to ensure cohesive support for students
• Adapt interventions to suit individual student goals outlined in IEPs
