Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist Assistant
Reports to: Director of Student Services
Supervises: No supervisory responsibilities
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Speech Pathology, Communication (preferred), or related field; or Associate's degree in Speech-Language
• ADHS Speech-Language Pathology Assistant License.
Essential Functions:
Skills required, but not limited to, for this position include:
• Using screening tools and protocol for speech-language;
• Implementing IEP objectives;
• Managing student behavior;
• Utilizing time management;
• Working independently and as a group;
• Preparing records and charts;
• Understanding special methods and procedures to work with special needs children;
• Establishing and maintaining effective working relations with stakeholders;
• Using computer software related programs; Engaging and encouraging communication skills while interacting with supervisors, staff, students, etc. to exchange information.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is continuously required to sit and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift/or move up to 30 pounds.
