Qualifications:
• Illinois licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Proven experience evaluating and treating communication disorders in a school setting
• Knowledge of IDEA and compliance documentation requirements
• Ability to develop and implement effective intervention strategies
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with school staff and families
Responsibilities:
• Evaluate students to identify speech, language, communication, or swallowing challenges
• Conduct screenings and utilize standardized assessments for various communication areas
• Create and execute individualized therapy plans to address diverse speech and language needs
• Support students with augmentative communication devices and social communication difficulties
• Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to promote student communication goals within classroom activities
