Overview
The Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) provides specialized assessment, diagnosis, and therapy services to students aged 5-22 with severe behavioral and developmental needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct evaluations
- Develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver direct therapy
- Collaborate with staff and families to support communication and feeding goals
- Assist with AAC device recommendations
- Integrate communication strategies into behavior plans
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations
Qualifications
- Master’s in Speech‑Language Pathology
- Current CA licensure
- Experience working with students with complex disabilities
- Preferred: ABA knowledge
- Preferred: AAC systems proficiency
- Preferred: Bilingual abilities
