Position Details:

• Title: SPED Resource Teacher - 4th Grade
• Location: Steger, IL
• Duration: August 13, 2026 to May 27, 2027
• Onsite/Virtual: Onsite
• Position Type: Contract
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (37.5 hrs/week)
• Student Age Group: 4th grade

Responsibilities:

• Provide resource instruction to 4th grade students with disabilities.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Conduct student assessments and monitor progress.
• Modify curriculum and instruction to meet individual needs.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and parents.
• Maintain student documentation and ensure compliance with special education regulations.

Qualifications:

• Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL).
• Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) endorsement.
• Experience working with students with disabilities.
• Strong IEP writing, collaboration, and classroom management skills.
