Responsibilities
- Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing
- Unpack, sort, and route specimens to designated staging areas
- Accurately label and identify clinical specimens
- Pack and ship specimens to appropriate testing facilities
- Perform data entry of patient information in timely and accurate manner
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Comfortable handling biological specimens
- Ability to accurately identify and label specimens
- Strong data entry and organizational skills
- High attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds and pass color blindness test
