Labcorp seeks a specimen processor for its Englewood, Colorado laboratory facility, working third shift (8:00 PM–4:30 AM, Monday–Friday with rotating Saturday). The role involves preparing, routing, labeling, and shipping biological specimens while maintaining accuracy and meeting production targets.
Responsibilities
- Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and route to staging areas
- Unpack, identify, label, and pack specimens for shipment to testing facilities
- Perform accurate and timely data entry of patient information
- Properly prepare, store, and manage excess specimen samples
- Resolve and document problem specimens while meeting department production goals
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Comfortable handling biological specimens with attention to detail
- Ability to accurately identify and label specimens
- Strong data entry and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and pass color blindness test
- Prior laboratory, medical/clinical, or healthcare industry experience preferred
Compensation: $18.88–$22.22 per hour plus 3rd shift differential
