Job TitleUnder general supervision of directors and in collaboration with all PAT managers; plans; organizes; directs and controls all activities involved in the effective; efficient; and economical utilization of material resources and personnel of the delegated specialty service; ensuring patient service is continuous and high quality. Responsible for orientation; training; and development of specialty service personnel. Responsible for assisting streamline PAT process across all facilities.
Relates effectively with anesthesia and perianesthesia team members for continuity of care; maintains satisfactory relations with other departments and nursing units and participates in all phases of education; maintenance of records; and upgrading policies; procedures and skills of personnel. Registered Nurses have a professional obligation to participate in committee activities; surveys; and improvement initiatives.
