Specialty Surgical Technologist/ Ortho RIAO

Overview

We have room to grow for an additional Specialty Surgical Technologist at Ruben Institute of Advanced Orthopedics (RIAO). The role supports orthopedic surgeries including trauma, limb lengthening, bone infections, joint preservation & replacement, pediatric orthopedics, and foot & ankle procedures.

Shift

8‑hour shifts, 6:45 a.m.–3:15 p.m.

Responsibilities

Assist the surgeon and physician during procedures under the supervision of the RN. When not directly assisting, provide patient care under the direction of the Clinical Leader/Charge Nurse or RN. Maintain high reliability, patient safety, teamwork, and support a learning environment.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Surgical Tech Diploma (must pass Diploma/graduation test)
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR Certification
• Accredited Surgical Technology Course Certificate (CST) – Certified Surgical Technologist already obtained
