Adecco Staffing is partnering with a local manufacturer in Woonsocket, RI seeking a 1st shift Specialty Operator. The hours for this role will be 7AM-3:30PM Mon-Fri with a starting pay rate of $19 per hour.
Job Responsibilities:
Precious Metal Dissolution & Processing
* Perform dissolution processes on precious metal sponge to create a variety of precursor solutions.
* Safely handle and work with hazardous chemicals in accordance with established procedures and safety guidelines.
* Operate and maintain laboratory equipment including glassware, air pumps, temperature probes, and pH meters.
* Wear and properly utilize required personal protective equipment (PPE).
* Monitor process conditions and report mechanical, electrical, or process issues to supervision.
* Contribute ideas and recommendations for continuous process improvements.
Powder Processing & Material Handling
* Process metal powders following synthetic manufacturing operations.
* Wash powders using Buchner funnels or decantation methods.
