ChenMed is seeking a Network Specialist to join their clinical operations team, providing direct patient care and assessments. This role involves working in various settings, including ambulatory health care centers, acute care, nursing homes, skilled nursing facilities, and home settings. The specialist will be responsible for comprehensive geriatric assessments, diagnosis, treatment, and developing patient care plans, adhering to ChenMed's standards for quality and service.

Practice Info

  • Primarily in the ambulatory health care center setting
  • Occasionally in acute care, nursing homes, skilled nursing facilities (SNF) and home settings depending on the nature of the assignment

Responsibilities

  • See patients and review basic medical history, inquiring about current symptoms and reasons for doctor’s visit
  • Log all patient visits and medical information and maintain patient records
  • Conduct exams and tests to determine likelihood of endocrine gland related issues
  • Analyze lab results and presentation of symptoms to arrive at conclusive diagnosis
  • Interpret diagnostic testing, determine nature of symptoms, and develop treatment plans, reviewing with patients and caretakers
  • Provide clinical advice for patients regarding the daily and long-term management of their diseases or conditions, recommending lifestyle changes
  • Devise and assign proper course of treatment, monitoring progress and following up with PCPs and other providers on total patient well-being
  • Write and renew prescriptions for medications

Compensation

  • Hourly pay range: $106.3 - $151.88
  • Eligible for bonuses or commissions

Requirements

  • Licensed/Board Certified/Board Eligible professional in a specialty such as urology, otolaryngology, orthopedics, pain management, dermatology or wound care
  • Rigorous medical training and a broad knowledge of various conditions related to specialty, and the ability to treat these conditions effectively
  • Able to operate equipment related to specialty, e.g. ultrasound, EKG
  • Medical degree from an accredited school and licensed to practice in state required
  • Board certification in specialty preferred
  • Current DEA and DPS Certificate of Registration
  • Minimum two (2) years of direct work or intern experience
  • Hospital privileges may be required in some cases
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Outlook, plus ability to learn internal systems such as Dashboard and MyNotes
  • Ability and willingness to travel within the market up to 75% of the time; may occasionally be asked to travel to other local markets
