Job Overview

Thrive Pet Healthcare is looking to add a Veterinary Medical Director to the team at Saint Francis Veterinary Specialists.

As the Medical Director, you will provide guidance and support to veterinarians at the hospital, helping to elevate patient care and achieve medical excellence.

Responsibilities

• Support and mentor veterinarians at your hospital toward achieving medical excellence and enhancing patient care and outcomes through close collaboration with practice managers and hospital leadership.
• Utilize leadership training resources and mentorship programs to develop your skills and advance your career.
• Perform at your best with comprehensive support and empowerment from Thrive’s Medical Excellence & Education Department.
• Participate in the Medical Initiatives Committee to develop services and team structures.

Experience & Skills Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree required
• State Veterinary Board license in good standing for the state of hire
• Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligible
• Board Certified Veterinary Specialist or Residency Trained Veterinarian
